Can you tell me what the difference between a SOFTIE and a PLUSHIE (or PLUSH) is?

I've had an idea for somethingto make but am not sure what it would be classed as?

Sorry Dizzy - only just spotted this. They are both basically the same thing, tbh. I use both tags in etsy, LK uses neither.
Does that help?

technically, there is no difference, you can use all of the descriptive tags if you want, or chose depending on your market.

there is softie, stuffie, plush, soft toy. i tend to use the tag ornament for mine, deliberately avoiding anything 'toy' related.

i think soft toy most definitely means it's meant to be played with, as does softie/stuffie, plush sounds a bit more like its for decorative purposes
