Cricut machine advice

I am wanting to make some Disney cruise door magnets and fridge magnets on magnetic paper/card. Its just for myself and family for our upcoming trip.

I have been wanting to buy a new cricut machine, I have the Joy, but it is not compatible. Any advice which cricut I would need for this type of project? Also do I need a printer? Or is there a cricut that does both. 

I am totally new to crafting but really want to start making things rather than buying. I have never even opened the box of the Joy
