Aqua Draw BUT NO WATER!

KKx · 26/03/2008 20:40

So I've just spent over £20 on early learning center's aqua draw, which I think is fantastic. But DS @20mths just wants to suck the water out of the bloody pen!!!!

How do I get him to stop sucking it and draw a squiggle?

you could fill the pen up with urine.

ManxMum · 26/03/2008 20:46

Isn't 20 months too young? I'm not sure but isn't the pen a choking hazard?

Please tell me if I am wrong.

Maybe he is thirsty?

Twiglett · 26/03/2008 20:46

take the pen away and give him a bowl of water to dip his hands or feet in

Slubberdegullion · 26/03/2008 20:47

sorry, in silly mood.

do what twiglett says.

would be very difficult to pee in those pens anyway.

You don't just have to draw with the pens - you can do handprints and all sorts of things.
Mine discovered they could write with bottles of milk
Also, when dd sneezed on it it did a lovely blue spatter - she enjoyed that.

Good ideas, I'll try the hand prints 2moro

Pee in it. He'd still drink it you know

my dd did this too. Drove me up the wall. So i just filled it up with mineral water, made sure it was screwed on tight and let her....the novelty soon wore off.
