Hi ladies, being new to this site just thought I would introduce myself before I start posting. My talk name says it all really - I'm a mad crafter - always got busy fingers. I enjoy almost all crafts and love to try new things at least once. I see you've got some swaps running which may be fun to join in with.

Hi ladies, great to be made feel so welcome. I'm just about to go and view the chat thread - after a look at the blog. I don't have a blog yet but I may just have to set one up.

Having looked at some of the other blogs, I turned green. I've begun setting one up already and will post a link when I get some stuff on it tomorrow - now where did I put my camera, lol.

Should have added I'll try my hand at anything, lol. At the moment I'm enjoying knitting for my youngest(10 weeks) although the toys have overtaken the clothes, lol. I also do a lot of cross stitch and card making. Have acquired a sewing machine which I will start working with at some point - still not touched but been in the cupboard for months.

what cross stitch do you stitch?, both myself and miaou used to design cross stitch kits

Anything that catches my eye - one of my largest projects was a winnie the pooh birth sampler for the eldest. I have a selection of All my Yesterdays which are aupposed to be going up in the bathroom when I get them finished. I was given a tigger cushion kit for christmas which I haven't started yet either. I enjoy doing stuff for kids - names with character letters, etc. A lot of my cards have cross stitch embellishments as well.

Normally if I like something then I''l stitch it.

The only pattern I've done - still sitting completely unstarted with all materials - is one of DH and I on our wedding day. Have to admit to using Picture it Stitched though.

i used to work for anchor, i think they have taken over the winnie the pooh license in the uk now, miaou did some designs for derwent water.

That the sort of day out that needs budget planning for me - DH always tells me to remember he has no desire to remortgage .

They do make a great day out - always find -new toys to play with I meant craft things to try and lots of new ideas.
