Hi there,

I was wondering if you can help me,
I have been wanting a single change nappy bag/pouch. SO Saturday I bought some material from John Lewis. I made a pouch a little bigger than a single nappy. it fits a slimline packet of wipes a single nappy with a nappy sack tucked inside the nappy.

It fits into my handbag beautifully.

I was wondering.. I have some material left over, should I make a couple more and sell them with some other things I have made... or is it just me who would find something like that useful?

Thanks.. Jen

no, I bought one of these which sounds similar, and think it is the most useful thing.

I just need a slightly bigger one now that will hold a cloth nappy and a wrap!

I bought one of those too, so there is a market...

I think it sounds useful, how do you fasten it?
You should make it clear it fits a single disposable nappy (real nappies can be a lot bigger), and make sure it fits right up to the large sizes.
I think you'll find a market for it though. You can see a similar product here
Which is more for people using reusables. Just thought you'd be interested to see what else is out there- I don't get commissions for it

that is fantastic dingdong.. thank you

lots of ideas.. we actually use washables 80% of the time but the times I want an emergency/spare from the car I keep disposables in there..

i like the look of that washables bag thing, but it doesn't actually say whether or not it fits a nappy as well. I thought about getting one, in the hope that it'll fit a nappy, but I already have the mat and the wipes etc.

If you were to make one for reusable jinglyjen, I'd definately buy one from you

JingleyJen · 24/03/2008 22:52

do you use prefolds or shaped nappies?

currently using pocket nappies, but want to get some shaped nappies again

here are some on ebay but they seem to be only for disposables
