Has anyone got any tips on selling on Etsy? I feel like it’s impossible to get seen!?

I paid for marketing with Etsy, paid a substational amount each month and got nowhere with it. When I checked through all my marketing and sales tools I found it was sharing my page but I wasn’t getting much from it.
It worked better changing up my titles of art so they came up on more common searches.
I did find that Etsy would have their best sellers higher up the page and I couldn’t compete with their prices so you’d have to endlessly scroll for my artwork.
I kept my Etsy page but focussed more on my social media and it became a bit easier that way as more people interacted with my social media pages and got in touch, I’d then send them the link to the item on Etsy which helped boost my sales.

It has been a while since I sold in Etsy so take what I say with several pinches of salt!

I agree with the above poster about changing titles. Tags and good quality photos are also important.

When I sold on Etsy, I found most of my sales came from people finding me through Twitter and Instagram. There are some good supportive communities for sellers and artists on there that can help give you a boost.

Good luck, and remember to have fun with it!
