Novice looking for help - making padded letters, can you assist me please?

Going to make letters to spell out DD2's name for her bedroom wall along the lines of these . Couldn't find any in shops/online that were exactly what I wanted so DH has cut out wooden ones about 1cm thick & I have bought wadding & material to cover (I don't want them as padded). All letters are angular & I can see how to do folds for outside edges but I can't work out how to do insides, e.g. inside angles of an E. Can anyone do me a simple instruction or maybe easier direct me to online instructions that might have diagrams for the daft ?

Jbck Hmm! How I'd try to do this is to firstly cut out each letter as a flat letter. Then sew a length of the same fabric which the width of this length is wider than the height of your letter - eg if your letter is 2cm high, I'd use a length about 3cm wide to enable seamage. . You may need to sew shorter lengths together in order to get the total length required to surround each letterSew this length all around the flat letter, so when you turn the fabric the right way round it will be box-like in the corners. I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain!

OR You could try cutting each letter's fabric out bigger than the required size and by using a staple gun you could pull and tuck the fabric under. If there are any areas where the fabric is not covering you could add lengths of braiding or other finishing touches.

Thanks DD I did think of sewing a wee edge all round but it's a lot more work than I wanted & I was hoping to get away with glueing or stapling. I found those ones you linked to but I don't like them or tbh I would just have bought them, prefer the built up look. Think I'll just need to have a practice first with some spare material to see how I get on.
