Sewing with viscose jersey

Hello, I'm quite new to sewing but have been mostly sewing in jersey so far as I tend to wear a lot of it (cool, cosy, soft, lovely). I bought some viscose jersey online thinking it would be stretchy but it's not as stretchy as I thought so I don't think my usual patterns will work. Does anyone know of any suitable sleeveless top patterns for this material? Also would it need a ballpoint or normal needle? Thank you

You need to look at % stretch (there should be some YouTube tutorials on how to determine that), and patterns should also indicate what % stretch they are designed for. Some viscose jerseys are really stretchy, and some less so - same with cotton jersey. Viscose does tend to be a drapier fabric, which will affect how it wears.

Jersey or starch needle would be best. Maraflex thread works well too.
