I have a cheap plastic storage box for sewing things - I only sew on name labels & buttons really. But I've started needle felting so I need storage for that. Some of the wool is quite bulky, but there are also a few small fiddly (& sharp) bits to keep track of.
How do you keep your supplies tidy?

I mainly use big, but flat storage boxes. Because they’re shallow, things tend to not get lost in them and they’re easy to store under beds, sofas etc. Argos and Amazon sell them and I’m sure lots of other places do too.

For needle felting, something like a drawstring project bag might work? I made one for my sewing stuff a while ago and added internal pockets. I use the small pockets for sewing needles and other small bits and the rest of the bag to hold bulkier items. There’s lots of patterns available online, including free ones. Most don’t have pockets, but it’s not too hard to add those (internal or external).

During the brief period I needle-felted, I just felted a big ball and stuck all the sharp bits in that! Not the most elegant solution perhaps, but effective. Stick it in a project bag and you’re good to go 😄
