Compressed wool pads

I’ve recently had some medication delivered that needs to be kept cold. As a consequence it comes packaged in what I think is a compressed wool pad. I now have three of these, approx 2ft x 1ft and about 1 inch thick. They seem too nice to throw away. I’m not into any sort of crafting myself but what sort of crafts could they be used for? I’ll be getting more of these and wonder who I could give them to who could make use of them. They’re blue btw.

Sounds like a very thick felt, yes?

Have any pets? You could layer them, make a cover (or just wrap an old pillow case round them) and use them as a pet bed.

Sorry, only just seen your reply. Yes, that’s how you could describe it.

Maybe your local primary school could find a way to use it for arts and crafts?

I wonder if it could be split through the thickness, to make thinner sheets.

Good idea. Thanks.

Quilters use wool pressing mats for ironing patchwork blocks, wondering if these would work for that?
