DMC threads to pass on

I have inherited a family member's box of DMC threads they were using for cross stitch. I also do cross stitch but always buy a full kit so have no need for them and it feels such a shame to bin them.

Would anyone have any ideas of where /how best I could pass these on to keen crafters?

Local freecycle? Someone will be delighted with them, I know I would!
