dress making tips needed - linings

Ok - I have my clothkits dress and want to add a funky lining. I am fairly novice dressmaker...what sort of fabric should I be looking at to line my dress. Any other advice.

Well they sell what they call lining fabric, which is cheap and comes in a variety of colours so you can choose a bright one or one that goes. They are manmade and easy care. You make up the dress/skirt exactally the same way as the original then sew together round the edges right sides together! Turn inside out, remember to leave a hole! and voila!!
