Quick - HELP!!! Fantasy Animal costume

for thurs...but I'm not going shopping, so it needs to be super easy to make (flipping book day, Grrrrrr!!!)

oh good grief, fantasy animal!, we've just got plain old normal animal (dd just wearing some bunny ears!)

i can't think, minds gone blank, so just bumping for you

tell me about it - what am I expected to do? A GRUFFALO or something, out of felt? Stupid school, stupid rubbish book day...sulk sulk sulk

what sort of fantasy animal? like magical creature. can you use face paints?

looking around online for you and found this for very quick costumes

A unicorn with a horn and some sort of mane and tail??

A centaur perhaps so person on top and just need horsey legs?

well if its the gruffalo just make a mouse... dressed in grey with ears... bit of painted on nose and whiskers.. and dont forget the tail!

owl? alot of magical creatures are ordenary ones that can talk or soemthing...

wolf from little red ridding hood... with a big fat tummy as ate grandma..

I can use face paints...but DD may get scabby skin after (she's sensitive soul)...although I may have to use the paints just to get something vaguely animal like.

gm- could you just make a quick felt mask?

here i jsut found a printable mask site.. here its slow but you could use it as a template to make a felt one that wouldn't irritate skin...

other wise.. has she got a blue dress? red glitter on some old shoes and you have dorthy of oz.. red material into a cape for red riding hood... green material to make a mermaids tail? with a felt shell in her hair?

mouse costume i'm sure you could run that up quick.. right beign booted off comp now.. good luck..

WHITE RABBIT - Alice in Wonderland???!!! That bunny mask has finally kicked my brian into gear. Now I just need to find the rest of the outfit (I've got a pocket watch...it's an heirloom...maybe I'll make one out of felt). It'll be a bit rubbish, but at least she'll stop moaning at me now. Phew. Panic over.
