looking for advice on where to start selling my own hand made cards. which website to get on - best place to buy materials and any tips and advice from those with a similar business.

Go to local independant card/gift shops and offer them a few of your cards on consignment (shop doesn't pay for cards until they have sold). Hopefully they will sell and place an order with you.

A lady in our area used to take a box of cards into the local schools. She would have various designs made for viewing only, and provided an order form with room for people to write how they would like them personalised. Staff used to spend a fortune on cards and 'stock up'! I think she came round once a month.
