What can I do with an old paper tablecloth?

I have a rather pretty paper tablecloth that I can no longer use as such. (A big curry splodge near the middle means it's useless for any of my tables.)

I can recycle it but it seems a waste. I'd like to see if I can make something with it but I'm drawling a blank as to what. Any ideas?

Cut into small sections and laminate for informal place mats?

Especially useful when eating outdoors (bonus: small kids can doodle on them with wet-erase marker pens!).

Or just use it for wrapping gifts/ making into decorative tags?

Do you want something to keep or just something to use it up?

I have made Scandinavian paper stars that come out for Christmas, they've lasted more than ten years so far. I love ticker tape bunting, but that lasts less well.

You could use it to cover books, for cards, cut a piece out & frame it or I made a very cute bird mobile once, that lasted well.

Oh those are really nice ideas
