dyeing advice

I have a pink fleecy swaddling blanket that I had for my daughter and would like to dye it for my son. It says it is a 100per cent polyester. Can anyone advise me how to do this - thanks

sorry - you can't dye 100% polyester
if it had a partial cotton/natural fibre/rayon content that part would take a dye giving you a lighter shade
