Where to donate yarn & needles

Just had a clear out of odd balls of wool, some are new, some partly used and also several pairs of knitting needles.

Does anyone have any advice on how to find a home for them where they will be used?

My local old folks home is always asking for wool. 🧶

Definitely a local care home. We often have fb posts asking for donations.

Agree with @MinnieEgg, I had dozens of crochet magazines I needed to get rid of & the local sheltered housing scheme took them all.

Our charity shops take them. DM often picks some up there.
