I saw some beautiful lettering that a girl had used a cuttle bug to make. But when googling it seems there are lots of different bits and i don't really understand! You can make impressions with it too is that right?

Also, where would the best place to buy it from be?

I love my cuttlebug!!!

I have found one of the cheapest places (in general) is here

For the main price you get all the plate you need fot cutting and embossing. You can buy a sort of foam pad for embossing flat stencils but I have never bothers, you have such a range of dcutting dies and embossing folders available anyway.

The embossing folders are about £3.50 and dies depend on packs and sizes....great value for money if you make lots of cards/scrapbook/alter....

I use the cuttlebug dies and embossing folders in my Bigshot, and they work fine.

They have a good range of cute designs I think.

Here is a Bigshot It does (as far as I know) virtually the same thing, take the same combination of dies. The main difference is that the CB is more portable and lightweight.

Sorry JA, just sometimes people already have a Bigshot and dont always realise that a lot of the dies are interchangable.

The cuttlebug is smaller, I think it woiuld take some of the other brands of die as well, but not the bigger ones.
