Oooh this brings back memories - it's a flower loom OP for making various fancy/lacy wool flowers. They were very popular in the 1970's/80's if I remember correctly. The flowers were used as embellishments on scarves, cushions and blankets etc.

It used to be called French knitting. I've still got mine somewhere.

Knitting loom, they have them in Hobbycraft. I've seen them used to make hats and scarves, not sure what else you'd use it for. Reminds me of the French knitting "Knitting Nancy" I had as a kid!

It knits a tube! You can make sleeves and socks with them. Or even the body of a vest on a larger size of loom.
I have a set in different sizes somewhere!
