What can I do with DD's socks?

DD has two pairs of socks which are her "favourite" socks. Very disappointed this morning to discover they have holes in them. I jokingly said I would frame them. I won't obviously because that would be ridiculous. What can I make out of them (the top part that goes around the ankle, where the design is, not the foot) that would make her laugh and how?

I made dh a sock reindeer one Christmas. I've made cushion covers out of t shirts but I guess with socks they'd not really be big enough. Unless she has a doll's house in need of soft furnishings?!

No, no dolls house. This is her companion since birth! Amazon dog

I love the idea of a sock bunny but the sock has an animal that goes 3/4 of the way around the sock, so it would be cut. Plus the foot of the sock has holes in it.

Can it become a jacket for the dog then? Cut off the foot part and a couple of cuts in the top bit for the front legs to go through?
