DIY cardboard boxes

Does anyone make their own cardboard boxes? I can't afford the prices online and I can't find any to fit the bottles of product that I make as a hobby.

Would love to be able to package them as then, I'd be able to sell online.

Surely it can't be that hard?!
It'd be a darn site cheaper!

I'm not convinced it would necessarily be cheaper if you need lots.

it isn't difficult to make a box though - there are probably lots of templates online. If you happen to have a paper cutter like a Cricut it would be really easy but expensive if you don't have one!

Thanks @SoupDragon!

I have 200ml bottles that I would like to package and send by post so I'd love to give it a go and try and make some money from my hobby. I can't find boxes to fit online that I can afford so I thought it give it a go!

I think basically you are looking at cutting this from cardboard. Dotted lines are scored lines, green is where you'd glue. Bottle and "base" to show how you'd need to judge size. The lid would just tuck in and seal with sellotape or one of those sellotape disks or pretty washi tape...

@SoupDragon oh gosh, look at that! Thanks SO much.

I've put your template on card and I'm going to gradually increase it in
size until I get my fit.

Quite excited now!

I'll let you know if it works. Thanks!
