Cross stitch a bead

Hello!

First time cross stitching. It's a pattern and it has singular beads to add. I have no idea how to add them, when I google the needles aren't fine enough to place the beads on. Included in the bag of beads is perhaps something to help but I'm clueless ! Any advice please?

That's a needle threader. You poke the pointy end of the wire through the eye of needle then put the thread through it, leaving a tail several inches long.Pull it back through the needle and it'll draw the thread through.

Try YouTube for tutorials.

I'd probably unthread the needle, thread the bead on and push it close to the fabric, re thread the needle then take a stitch to secure.

Thanks.
I've googled a few videos however they tend to have needles small enough to add a bead.

Ahhh this little gadget would have been so helpful, I've competed all the cross stitches 😂 next time ...!!

These are instructions for how to add beds to crochet but the principe would be the same for embroidery/cross stitch. You use a thinner needle and some cotton to pull the thread through the bead.

You can get a specific needle for beading, it’s very fine and longer than a stitching needle. If you look on Amazon they come in packs of 5 for a couple of pounds.
