Crochet, please help me make a perfect magic ring!!

I want to make a mandala and I would like a beautifully neat starting circle.

Can you recommend a clear explanation, either written or on YouTube?

I have made loads of blankets and scarves, gloves, wrist warmers etc but a mandala needs to look perfect.
Oh and any recommendations for yarn?

Yup, Bella Coco is the way to go.

you can’t go far wrong with a magic ring really - if you follow the instructions you can pull it neatly when you’ve finished crocheting round the ring.

Having an early night tonight as I have been to Glastonbury for the day.
Seeing all the lovely crocheted creations there has made me even more determined to conquer the Magic Ring!!

I find it helps to use a stitch marker (or paperclip!) to mark the first stitch into the ring, otherwise when I pull it tight, I seem to lose it.
