I have no hobbies . Live alone .

Just started watching g the great pottery throw down and really fancy a bash at pottery and ceramics!

Found a studio nearby that does courses (quite expensive but I do nothing else for me !)

Anyone else had a go ?

I have tried this good year ago with my mum and aunt. We signed ourselves to college evening classes. It was much fun for us but the teacher was very useless and didnt explain everything carefully. We learned to make it by hand rather then wheel, however we did have a go at the wheel too.

My mum got hooked and now has a whole pottery studio in her loft with wheel and a kiln. However me or my aunt didnt find the jog in it.

I would definitely recommend to give it a go. Especially in the studio with someone that has passion for it would make it so much more enjoyable. I think the teacher ruined the pottery vibe for me and aunt.
