Where do you get your supplies?

Just a quick question to find out the best (and hopefully cheapest) arts and craft suppliers that you use online?
I'm itching to get started on a few projects but don't know where to buy from!

What kind of crafts?

well i suppose not really crafts (although i'd really like to be inspired to start something!)-more of art-acrylics, canvas and brushes

I mainly use specialist card, bead and yarn suppliers, so havent really come across stuff like that.

I usually google what I want, and see what links come up!

Good luck, there are some painters on here, they may be more help.

Mind you, just before Xmas Lidl had some really cheap acrylics, canvases and brushes. I got some for DD and her Dad, and they seemed reasonable, but dont know how the quality bears up. Very cheap tho.

The Works have good art supplies (except they are not online- just seen that bit on your post!)

Have to agree with betty that they are good.

I agree with Betty and GM the works is very good for cheap art supplies.. i buy canvases and acrylics from them... and on ocassion paint brushes... definitly value for money..
au naturale is good too but they don't have an online store .. just a web page but they do do nice canvases for cheap

I do buy them on occasion... bought one of those packs with three skinny canvases the other week.. still havent' painted it/them.. I would say I have talent at it as such but I do enjoy it and find it quite relaxing to get elbow deep in paint...

dd has a similar idea of relaxation
