A couple of months ago I started a crochet project, just a basic blanket. I then got ill and stopped doing it for a while, I've picked it up to start again and I can't for the life of me remember what stitches I was doing?! I'm in hospital for a procedure today and hoped to take my mind off thing by picking up the crochet again but my mind is a complete blank as to what I was doing! Anyone got any ideas?

Just to say it will be something quite basic as I'm not very experienced yet

Also when I start to unpick it there are three loops on the stitch (sorry not sure that's the right phrasing) not sure if you can tell with this picture

It looks to me like it's just rows of treble crochet (UK terminology, it's called a double crochet if you go by US terminology), but rather than just going under the top two loops at the top of the stitch, you're going under the whole top of the stitch if that makes sense, so your new stitch sort of sits between the two previous ones rather than on top of one.

I think its:

Yarn over the crochet hook, then go through the next stitch, yarn over the crochet hook and just through the stitch you have pulled up then yarn over the crochet hook and through the two remaining stitches on the needle?

Yeps agree it looks like treble crochet (double crochet in US, watch out as lots of YouTube videos are from US).

Looks like half trebles so yarn over, hook into the loop, yarn over and draw through all three loops

Thank you all, it was the half treble!
Unfortunately I got given tramadol just after posting and I've been in no fit state to do anything! There goes my idea of making the most of my time here and getting cracking on with the project 😂
