Printing card recommendations

I've started creating greetings cards on Canva and am hoping to sell them on Etsy. Printing them is turning out to be a bit of a nightmare - printing wrong colours, etc. I don't think I've run out of ink because it's a new printer (canon pixma ix6800).
Can anyone else who does this recommend some good quality card to print on? Thanks!

Have you tried adjusting the colours before printing? I had this problem years ago with a Pixma - I wish I could remember what I did (calibration?), because in the end the colours were exactly right every time, from being way off when I first printed a photo. Try googling & asking newer Pixma users for advice, maybe on a Canon or tech/photography forum. I also bought a later Canon printer & found I had to manually adjust 1 step lighter every time I used it, which took the pleasure out of printing. There was a printing program to install (possibly Easy-PhotoPrint), with the facility to adjust stuff on each image.

Sorry this isn't as much help as it should be, but I don't use that computer & those printers any more.
