Knitting pattern help please

I’m knitting a baby hat from an old pattern. I’m about to do row 12 at the bottom of the page - all good. However, I’ve read just after that and am a bit confused what it means by “continue in this way dec 2 sts at the side panels on every row and at centre panel on every alternate row until 10 sts remain”.

Does it mean row 13 would be “K14, k2tog, k2tog tbl, k21, k2tog, k2tog tbl, k21, k2tog, k2tog tbl, k14” - 76 sts

Row 14 “P13, (p2tog) twice, p42, (p2tog) twice, p13” - 72 sts

And then carry on like that decreasing four stitches each row?

Although I think I might be reading it wrong? I really don’t want to mess this up (obviously). Any help would be very much appreciated.

I think I’m sorted now - decreasing 4 and then 6 alternate rows

Yes, that's how I read it too. The side decreases in every row and the centre decrease (see on row 11) every other row.
