Modern or stylish sewing box recommendations please

I’m in need of a new sewing box, my current one is falling apart and trivially, I’ve never liked the pattern on it as it was bought for me. I’d like something a similar size or possibly bigger, definitely not smaller but nothing too flowery or twee looking as it does sit out so I see it all the time. It’s just a standard rectangular box with a lift out tray, it’s 31cmx23cmx15cm but I’m open to something a bit more fancy if it exists.

I’ve looked at the traditional wooden boxes on legs and I think I like them, I remember my gm having one but I think for practical reasons of moving it between rooms as needed I’d be better off sticking with a box I can carry. Does anyone have a sewing box they love or that has a modern pattern or know of anywhere that sells something a bit different to the usual things?

Thanks.

Have a look at John Lewis, there are a few different patterns (albeit mostly floral!) so might have something that works.

these are ruinously expensive but lovely. I’ve seen them IRL at Fibre East yarn show. Can’t remember the seller there.

several sellers on ETSY.

handmade wooden shaker baskets fitted out as a sewing basket.

i'm looking for exactly the same thing. lots of beautiful impractical antiques and then modern/ugly/twee things.

please do post links of anything good.

Thanks for the suggestions, I like the baskets but they’re too expensive for me. It’s a pain I don’t have the space for a proper station because I could probably get better organised without a box.
