Am using dna cable from here

Am thinking quite pointy

Am stuck on edging. Someone on ravelry suggested picot but...am not sure...

please give me your thoughts, I have a week til the due date and have yet to knit anything for this child

ps the most likely yarn is blue sky alpacas cotton, either green or ecru if that makes a difference.

Think this is something like it.
If you want I have that Ann Budd book, I can lend it to you, if you want.

Forgot to say it's the little one on the pink hat, but if that's too small, you could always do more increases and then decreases to make the bobble larger.

oooh interesting, hmm...

interesting...

hmm I do have ann budd sweaters and patterns too...is it one of those?

I dunno I dunno, I am just honestly not sure how this yarn will take that level of inc/dec. The cables for the dna thing nearly killed it. I have not been able to frog at ALL, I made one mistake near the beginning and actually had to discard the yarn because it just looked AWFUL when frogged.

Hmm will experiment, thanks rh

ok tis finished, will try to get a pic up on flikr later

in the end I did 3 short icords and increased a bit at the end. I edged with an attatched i cord.

It looks quite like this teacosy which was somehow my intention
