Temporary paint on t-shirt

SweetieP1e · 03/11/2022 15:30

My ds wants to dress up as Venom for fireworks night (we missed Halloween) and I was thinking of painting the spiderman logo on a black t-shirt so I don't have to buy a costume.
He has a black t-shirt but I don't want to permanently paint in it so need to use something temporary. Any suggestions in what I could use?

paint the logo on a piece of fabric and tack the piece on the black t-shirt

You'll never get paint completely out of a t-shirt! Agree you should do it on something else and attach it to the t-shirt, or you need to buy a cheap t-shirt you're willing to sacrifice.

I thought paint might be problematic but sewing is not my forte and I was hopeful for another way

What you could do is photocopy the logo onto A4 paper, paint round the logo with black paint and then safety pin it to the t-shirt. You could also use washable glue, sparingly

Hope DS enjoys his Guy Fawkes Night!
