Online wool shop recommendations

Just that really. I'm looking for a wide selection and real wool, rather than low cost.

I love www.woolwarehouse.co.uk as it has such a great variety. If money's no object then www.loopknitting.com 😍

Tribe in Richmond are very good, with clear descriptions of the yarns, and a sensible layout - some don't let you see all the colours together.

I mostly use Woolwarehouse. I also like Hobbii (but you have to remember to order under the limit for customs charges as they are in Denmark)

And for a real treat with luxury yarn, try Posh Yarns

I predominantly buy hand dye and like a luxury base (so often merino/silk/cashmere).

or direct from dyer - Old Maiden Aunt, Travelknitter, Woolkitchen, Skein Queen are favourites.

My favourites are Wool Warehouse, Lovecrafts and Laughing Hens.

I use Wool Warehouse for commercial yarns, and hand dyed sock yarns from Etsy or spinner/dyer's own websites.

Love wool warehouse and Love Crafts.

Also Vicki Brown designs for hand dyed skeins and the mini skein monthly club.

Love Crafts are excellent as are WoolWarehouse.

I like woolwarehouse for their service but find their website very un user friendly from a mobile

Also the Fluffatorium by gilliangladrags outside Dorking, Surrey but also has online shop.

I do use wool warehouse too, but much prefer to support the above smaller business where possible.
