Umm, not sure how to put this so it make sense but I have lots of small semi precious stones and was thinking about putting them into a kind of wire cage and hanging them on a pendant but I have no idea how to do it. My first attempt took ages and was pretty messy by the time I@d finished. Have any of you tried it so you could give me some tips?

Buy the cages online beadsunlimited.co.uk - they spring back into place then and hold the stone, lots of different sizes - if you try to wire it yourself it goes all floofy and wibbly (and looks like it was made by a 5 year old)

Just had a look, they're pretty cheap too. oh boy I think I'll be spending again. lol. Thanks again, sooo much easier thank making my own and I've finally found a way to use these stones- might even buy loads and try to make some money back on ebay.

If they're uneven shaped stones then wire wrapping them can work well. Just wrap thin wire round like you were tying a parcel.
