an amazing book i borrowed from my local library is a perfect guide for anyone - even complete beginners its written by sarah beaman. its called "the complete guide to scrapbooking" and it goes over everything you need to make wonderful scrapbooks. big or small, in an album or brown paper bags! (thats not even a joke, i'v made a brown paper bag scrap book!)

anyway, email any time. i would always be glad to chat! Rachel.x

Was it Cod that called it 'just cutting & sticking'??

Dingle · 18/01/2008 20:46

LOL...and as you can tell, it's quite addictive!

ruthmollymummy · 18/01/2008 20:49

oh my oh. maybe we shouldn't get you started or you too will spiral down into a pit of shiny bits, pretty paper, ribbons, buttons........

oh yeah, and now i take pictures of EVERYTHING in preparation for later putting it in a scrap book!

"just cutting and sticking" i'm almost offended!! haha

pinkbubble · 18/01/2008 20:50

I love it! Go to a group twice a month and a whole Sunday once a month. I have spent a fortune, all my DDs have their own, they sometimes help me and make their own pages. America seems to be the cheapest place to shop!

mumbear · 18/01/2008 21:06

It's pretty much a fancy photo album with pretty paper & decorations etc

I've got a lovely A-Z of 2006, one page and one photo for each letter of the alphabet (can embark on 2007 now!) and a Birthday Book which has one photo taken on each of the SmallDragons' birthdays. All fairly minimalist as I don't like all the sugary sentiment stuff

ruthmollymummy · 20/01/2008 21:18

I have dabbled with scrapbooking in the past, I loved it but seldom have time these days to drag out all my craft things to have a go.

I have just started digital scrapbooking and it is almost as much fun. Here is my first simple and bright digital layout.
I'm trying to get to grips with photoshop and some free stuff I downloaded from scrapgirls and I have done my first basic and very bright layout.

I'm off goggling for more freebies, I am determined to get out wedding album finished started, as our honeymoon baby (Babychair) is 17 months old !!!
