Zip problem, can someone help please!

I bought some zip off a roll, so there's no zip pull thingy(sorry don't know the correct terms). I have bought a pack of zip sliders(ahhhhh that's what they're called)

So my question.

How do I get the zip slider onto the zip Have tried a couple of ways and just can't get it on!

Have you tried to put each side of the zip into the slider seperately instead of when together - iykwim

has to be done together at the same time, get someone to help you hold the two sides of the zip, use to sell it at work we alway put the zipper on for the customers.
