What to use to stick decorations on windows?

DD has painted a sun catcher.

Foxed as to the best way to stick it on the window. Glue dot, sellotape?

What's best to avoid a sticky residue on the window in the end?

I would try glue dots. Not sure how much weight they will hold. They don’t leave residue. Sellotape will work, but likely to need a bit of window cleaner/nail varnish remover or hot soapy water to get rid of the sticky mess it leaves.

I use the sucky things you get with Christmas lights to hand on DD window. Sorry don’t know what they are called! They are a circle and use suction.

I've got glue dots so I'll try one of those but might stick some suction thingies in the next online order.
