Best online fabric store please

I am looking for some satin crepe and need recommendations please for an online store or, if in London, an actual shop where they may have patterned sc available.

BST Fabrics is a good site. Bought lots from them before. Mibs Fabric looks good, just placed a large order there for jersey at 50% off. Might be satin crepe there?

Minerva crafts.

I second Minerva. If you sign up to their club (£20 a year?) then you get 10% off everything. I like that when you click on the fabrics you get links to see what other people have made with them

Minerva has a great range but their customer service is disappointing

I like Croft Mill. I don't have any local stores round me, and so rely on online orders. I've also ordered from Craftswoman Fabrics and they're really good too.

If you’re in London, Goldhawk Road has lots of fabric shops in the one vicinity. Misan fabrics is top quality.

Minerva is overpriced to start with.

Fabric godmother, dragonfly fabrics (both have a discount code, "jubilee", this weekend) lamazi and guthri and ghani are my favourites. Fabworks and sew me sunshine are great and pound fabrics (not pound a metre) is highly rated and likely to have what you are looking for. Plush addict is also worth checking.

Minerva: fab range, inexpensive, but so so slow to post
Dragonfly fabrics: less choice, great quality
Lamazi fabrics: good choice, less cheaper fabrics, slightly slow to post
Fabric Godmother: Good range, average posting

One thing that anoys me is the trend to price in half metres now. I find a fabric, think’ ooh good price’ and realise it is double that !!!
