Anyone got any spare knitting needles??

I fancy taking up knitting but dont know if il be any good or stick to it (like most things) so im looking to borrow some knitting needles/buy some cheap.

if i borrow i will return after a fews weeks once iv decided if im going to continue.

anyone got any spare?

I could send you some but you can get cheap ones for less than a couple of quid.

have you got a Lidl near you? They often have knitting stiff in their special offers which would be good to start with!

Whats this anti consumerist thread? Sounds like something I could use - car and iron both died over Christmas and had to be replaced, today got some really crap bills.....

its just basically a voluntary simplism thread, but we're making up our own rules regarding our or circumstances.

mines financial as well as environmental so liek some who will spend more on food with lessair miles i cant do that so thats not one of my aims.

my main is to buy nothing new (other than shoes, underwear and food) for a whole year!

i think i can manage it, my xh thinks im mad!
