Oh - My - God, the smell was terrible. Don't know how long it's been there but the smell was terrible. I made dh remove the putrfying remains but I've had to bin a load of Debbie Bliss, Rowan and Jaeger wool I just couldn't face either knitting with it or washing it all out - most unlike me, I never normally bin anything.

Boo-hoo

Not a siamese - I had one and he used to try to eat my yarn, or else he would fight with it until it became an unusable felted mass

Cosy-schmosy. Did I mention I had to bin an almost-finished scarf which had taken me aaaaaaages (The scarf took no time at all, but the yarn got in a horrible mess and took about 3 years to unravel )
