Got a cropadile for Xmas! How do I use it?

I have had fun and games this evening, its taken me nearly an hour to do one eyelet!

Do I make the hole first with the cropadile or do I do it all together?

How do I keep the eyelet in place? (The eyelet keeps falling off the stud thingy on the cropadile).

Have seen other people using these at my scrapbook club and they looked so easy! What am I doing wrong? (plus I can't get to my club to ask for help until the end of the month!

Thanks

not sure but bumping for you
have you tried Googling for a help video or tips

I love mine

You make the hole first with the hole punch bits on the outside (there's a big hole and a little hole punch), work out which combination of top and bottom thingies you have to set on the Cropadile (have a look at the packet, there's a list there), put the eyelet in the hole, put the eyelet and paper in and squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze. There's a bit printed on the Cropadile that tells you which part goes onthe top of the eyelet and which on the bottom.

They eyelet stays in place because it's shoved through the hole in your paper. You can then gently squeeze the Cropadile until it's gripped firmly and the squeeze harder to set the eyelet.

It took me a few goes to realise there were hole punches on the outside

Thank you so much, I had found the instructions on which way to have the cropodile. I think I will have a play with it before I use it on anything precious!

Once again thanks

I have been thinking of getting one of these. Are they easy to use? And anyone know of a good place to get one cheap!!??

Wow, what fun I have had!(bless) Have managed to work the cropodile - it is so easy!!

It is a really clever machine to make holes at the edge of your craft work, but will not work in the middle of a 12" page. IYSWIM

Well worth though, I got mine off E bay.
