Hi. I'm an extremely anxious person. I barely leave the house. I get the lowest pip. My husband pays the bills. Would it be worthwhile me using some of my pip money to give me something to do?
Can anyone recommend anything? Not too expensive. Thank you.

I kept promising myself a Paul Talbot Greaves course - I think he offers online but I haven't looked for a while

www.skillshare.com/browse/art

skillshare has loads of different tutors and lots of courses. I pay 71.88p
a year. So that's about 6 pounds a month.
You can pay monthly if you want but it's more, not sure how much as it's a while since I joined. I have done oil painting, acrylics, one water colour. Probably about 10 classes in all.
There is also a business management type website called skillshare - don't get stuck on there.

Hello! When I was beyond anxious a counsellor suggested getting a sheet of paper, the colour of paint ( watercolour is nice and tactile) and just colouring in the sheet. No worrying about what to draw or whether it’s perfect. When I got bored ( which I think was the intention!) she suggested I just pick the colour I liked and paint circles. It sounds silly but the mental concentration required to hand paint a circle keeps your mind busy and the soothing flow of colour and tinkle of brush in the water jar i s very soothing. In the end I chose a lovely watercolour pad and now have some really nice ( I think!) abstract circle paintings! I tried differeones a day ended up with rows of donut shapes. Some rainbow, some blue..then you get interested to try other things
Just looked at artists pps recommend ped. They are super! Thanks for posting.

Paul Clark is good, or I just put something like clouds, or flowers,
and watercolour into YouTube and follow ones that I like.
