Erasable pens for free motion stitching

Best pen to write text/ draw which then disappears please ?
Need a fine nibbed erasable pen.

I have heard the heat erasble pens (Frixion) are mixed results with the images coming back when temperatures are cool

I’ve tried a few different types but I find they often don’t last long or dry out or aren’t strong enough to be seen.

So I use Frixion mostly. From memory, the temperature has to really drop to freezer temperatures. So I wouldn’t use them for anything that was going to be in a show. You could try them on a scrap of fabric and put it in the fridge and freezer and see what happens if you’re concerned. I’ve never had the marks come back though.

Something I have used and worked quite well with a stencil was quilt pounce powder which is like a chalk dust
