Make my own Post-it note? Removable tape

I'm not entirely sure what to Google here but I am looking for something that I can use to turn an ordinary piece of card into a post-it note so that I can keep it lightly fixed in place on another piece of card but it can be removed to reveal a message underneath and replaced to hide it again

I guess I'm looking for double sided tape that is strong on one side and less sticky on the other? Or maybe some sort of sticky dot? Ideally it would be as transparent as possible.

If anyone has any recommendations they would be most gratefully received. Smile

Masking tape

Glue it on the side you want to attach permanently

Not transparent though

Repositionable glue stick
Or you get re positionable glue dots too.

I have re-stickable glue sticks too. I think mine are Elmer's.

That brilliant, thank you Smile. I'm going to order the glue stick and give that a try.

You need a Pritt non-permanent glue roller.
You just roll a meat line onto any paper you want to make into a note.
You can by refills if required.
