Painting ceramic baubles

I have some unglazed ceramic baubles that I want to paint. What’s the best kind of paint to use? Acrylic?
Is there a way that I can seal them? Maybe some kind of varnish?

I’m the least artistic/crafty person in the world so any help is appreciated 🤣

You can use acrylic paint and seal with a polyurethane varnish or you can use a multi surface paint such as Decoart which doesn't need sealing. Look on Buddly Crafts website for paints. I use Duraclear varnish.
