I keep seeing these amazing jumpers on Instagram but the posts are not in English and I can't figure out what this stitch or pattern is called. Does anyone know? How difficult is it to do?

I love the look of it! I have basic knitting skills and feel determined to learn to do this.

Entrelac?

LassoOfTruth · 12/12/2021 17:09

Looks like entrelac to me!

Entrelac, I think. I crochet, not knit but think that's what it's called

That's right, it's Entrelac. It's not too difficult to do, although would be very fiddly for an entire jumper. is great for tutorials if you want to give it a go.

That looks like it is plaited sections, rather than knitted flat. So each section has been done either as a strip or a tube, then knitted or sewn into the ribbing at the waist etc.

If you go on Ravelry you will find a pattern in English. I've no idea if it's easy.

Thank you so much! I think I'll start with a scarf or perhaps a little blanket for the cats 😁

Entrelac is not that hard to do and makes you feel very talented. Smile
