I'm not blessed with arts and crafts genes but fancy giving something a go, but what???

I hope you get on all right sandwiches77 may I stick my nose in where it's probably not wanted with a little advice? When you make a tension square I suggest you drop a stitch on purpose and then try to retrieve it. Don't worry if you find it difficult at first - it'll get better with experience. If you can rescue a stitch when it doesn't matter you'll be in a better position when it happens on the 'real thing' - and no matter how careful you are it will happen, I'm afraid - practice makes perfect.
