Christmas present for a 15yo sewer

If you were putting together a nice sewing box to get someone started, what would you put in?
A pincushion and some glass-head pins?
Some needles and a magnetic needle nest?
Some nice little embroidery scissors?

I don't want to get her everything. Just make a start.

Seamstress! Yes! That would have been a much better title.
It's dressmaking I'm looking at mostly, but she's pretty crafty in all respects. She made a hoodie recently and embroidered stars and planets on it.

Some scissors for fabric only.

Rotary cutter and pattern weights?
Portable snips
Seam ripper
Washable pen for marking lines, dots, notches etc
