Where should I look for cheap fabric rolls?

What type of place is cheapest to get a fabric roll? Any recommendations for online stores or is it always cheaper in a store?
I'm looking for about 10m of red crushed velvet

Sorry, no idea,! Have seen cheap stuff online. I guess a market ?
Maybe get it from India or somewhere?

When I was doing a fashion design course at uni I always ordered from www.myfabrics.co.uk
They have three types of red crushed velvet on there £3.95 per m

I think this thread is recent enough to not be considered Zombie. I just want to thank those who have posted to websites selling fabric at great prices. I’m just started out and the heads-up us so useful.
