Hi - I haven’t been around here for ages, and I can see there’s some serious talent, and know how!
I’m an hourglass shape and want to play around with making a sweatshirt and or a sweatshirt cardi this winter to suit my shape, but wanted to add a striped border
I’ve found plenty of striped cuffs and ribbing but that’s not what I want. What I’m looking for is a ‘striped something’ to apply to the sleeves to create the athletic look.
The only thing I can find that has the kind of look I want is those striped straps you can get for those cross body bags, but they’re too wide, and too thick.
It needs to be washable.
Any ideas? I’ve been mooching around online haberdashery sites for months!
