well i posted earlier about buttons and it seems you CrAfTy LaDiEs are loving your buttons!!!!
i have HUNDREDS of buttons looking for new loving homes very reasonable prices and cheap p+p
i have bags of mixed true vintage buttons in brown or black or beige which would look great on those gorgeous fabric owls @ £1.50 for 50 buttons with free p+p
i also have lovely vintage M.O.P. & glass & floral buttons
loads of more modern floral buttons too

yes - i have some nice seed beads - lots of different colours.Loads of wooden beads and some really nice millefiorri beads too - may have some sequins but only basic ones

i thought of you today when a massive bag of mother of pearl buttons arrived! they are small 4-hole ones i imagine they're shirt buttons - sweet.

I luuuuurve the shell buttons btw. You said 'You get what you pay for' of these - and I'd like some more, if you have them! No idea what I'm going to do with them, but they are so, so lovely. Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately all the shell ones are gone now - you can find them easily on eBay they come from china - i sold mine at cost as i was disapointed with the quality, i'd bought them as "vintage" and bought 500 but there were quite alot broken or mishaped or just white not pearly - the uk seller was horrible and is the reason for my single negative feedback [grrr] as i dared criticize their customer service!

Vintage, my mum's a bit of a 'button queen'. When dds were younger, it was her mission - after she'd knitted them stuff- to find the perfect button for the cardi/whatever.

Her favourite place is 'Button Queen', just off Marylebone High Street. She took me there last Monday - it's wonderful. Anyhow, to cut a long story short, she saw the buttons you sent me - on Thursday - and said '2s, you'd never get these at that price in London'. AND she knew her MOPs from her shells!

Probably plastic ones would be best but a few of the MOP might be good to have in stock too!!
